XIII International Baltic Sports Medicine Conference will be held on 2-4 September 2027 in Tartu, Estonia!

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is our great pleasure to welcome specialists from different subfields of sports medicine from the Baltic States to the XIII International Baltic Sports Medicine Conference, taking place in Tartu, Estonia, on September 2–4, 2027.

The city, which is home to the University of Tartu, offers an inspiring academic setting for our conference. The University’s longstanding traditions in sports medicine provide a meaningful backdrop for exchanging ideas, connecting research with clinical practice, and strengthening international collaboration.

Held every other year in a different Baltic country, the conference brings together sports physicians, traumatologists, orthopaedists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, coaches, researchers, doctoral students, and other healthcare professionals who share a commitment to athlete health, performance, and wellbeing. It provides an excellent forum for presenting new research, exchanging knowledge, and advancing interdisciplinary collaboration across sports medicine and exercise science.

This year’s conference will feature a diverse scientific programme covering athlete healthcare, sports nutrition, exercise physiology, injury prevention and rehabilitation, athlete mental health, and technological innovations in sports medicine.

Beyond the scientific programme, the conference offers a valuable opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and friends, build new professional partnerships, and experience Tartu’s distinctive atmosphere as a university city. We invite you to explore its rich academic and cultural heritage, historic university buildings, and vibrant city centre as the new academic year begins.

We look forward to welcoming you to Tartu and wish you an inspiring conference and a memorable stay.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the XIII International Baltic Sports Medicine Conference,

Agnes Mägi
